Ski out your front door from the Spring Creek Ranch House, Winthrop, Wa.

I know these sunny, bright winter days will arrive shortly.  If you are looking for a great place to stay in Winthrop, Washington where you can open your front door and ski onto 120 kilometers of groomed cross country trails… then look no farther.

Both the Spring Creek Ranch House and Cabin are both right on the famous MVSTA cross country ski trail system.  Family skiing in the Methow Valley doesn’t get much better than this!

Doggie Dash

Make sure the Doggie Dash is on your calendar! February 19th at Spring Creek Ranch’s lower alfalfa field (otherwise known as) the Town Trailhead!

Story Ski

Talented local author/illustrator, Erik Brooks led a wonderful story ski at Spring Creek Ranch along the Community Trail.
Erik posted his dynamic illustrations around the looped ski trail (which is an alfalfa field in the summer) and invited the public to come and join him for a reading of the story while skiing…Story Ski is born!
What a great idea, I say! A unique way to combine reading and exercise for so many young renaissance minds.
