Simple Snowy Pleasures

Remember when all you needed was a mound of snow, some sturdy boots, warm woolens and a bright blue sky to keep you happy and entertained for hours. Alright, having a friend helps.

:: What is better than the rush of sliding down a slick hill on a sunny day?
:: Oh, maybe a bit more skiing….it is still sooooo good.
:: What better way to end a day full of skiing, sledding AND ice skating than some board games!

Winter to…Weddings!



We have enjoyed a wintery wonderland this winter. With more than 200 km of groomed ski trails all of our guests were busy!
We snuck in one trip to Grandma and Grandpa’s and made sure to feed the horses on Christmas morning. But now, I am thinking about….Weddings!

Yes, it is President’s Day Weekend. Of course, all 200 +km of ski trails are groomed and gorgeous. It is a bluebird day outside and the Methow Valley is bustling with visitors from all over the state and beyond, but I am thinking about weddings.
It will still be winter here for, let me dare say, over a month. So if there is anyone still thinking about getting in a ski weekend, come on over!

Spring Creek Coloring Book!

Artist In Residence :: Mary Kay Johnson
Our dear local artist (and beloved neighbor), Mary Kay, has made Spring Creek Ranch its’ very own coloring book! We are so excited to have this new, fun activity available, but not limited to, the children that come and visit Spring Creek Ranch.
Mary Kay chose several different ranch scenes and created some incredible pages that just beg to be washed in color! This image shows the cover colored in…I am thinking that we may just have to host a coloring contests this winter. Wouldn’t that be fun and the prize could be…a free weekend at the ranch! Ooooo-la-la!
