Warm Days

The weekend was spent mostly working outside.  Daren, Bud and Ayla spent most of Saturday picking rocks out of the alfalfa fields at Spring Creek.  I helped out for a bit, but had to tend to the baby.  While they were rock picking, Ayla and Daren found a Kill Deer nest.  The eggs are so beautiful, I had to go back on Sunday and take a picture.  

We managed to take our first family walk around Spring Creek this spring and say tons of wildlife.  Mergansers, Mallards, Osprey, Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles are everywhere! Oh, and the ground hogs are back wrecking havoc on the fields and getting fat off of our crop.
